The Cortez Film Documentary: How Politicians Make Money

February 18, 2019

REPORTEDLY Netflix Bought the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Doc ‘Knock Down the House’ documentary for an insane amount of money. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is making her movie debut on Netflix. Netflix purchased the documentary Knock Down the House for $10 million. More than double the previous highest paid.

Knock Down the House follows four progressive female candidates, including Ocasio-Cortez, through the 2018 midterm election and details their long campaigns against established incumbents.

Did Cortez get any of the money? According to Politico, "She is getting zero dollars for the film,"

So perhaps the documentary will explain how Cortez showed up at the State of the Union Address wearing an outfit worth thousands of dollars.

Isn’t this the same Netflix that supposedly gave the Obamas a big deal too? The same Netflix that made $800 million last year and paid ZERO taxes.

Interesting that Cortex laid out the EXACT methods politicians can use to get rich. And, even more amazing she knew that after only a few weeks on the job.
