Easy money has been one of the most successful advertising scams in history. Maybe because it works so well. Who doesn't want some easy money and live the good life. No work, you can just relax, do whatever you want, whenever you want. It sounds great.
I'm wondering if people are looking at this a little differently. My way of looking at this was work hard > save money > make some investments > live the easy life. The easy life was the prize for working hard and being smart.
But I think a lot of people are saying hey, why not just skips steps 1-3 and jump right to step 4! 4 out of 10 men in their 20s and 30s would marry a partner who earns more than they do so that their spouse can pay their debts. More than half say that wealth is a factor when selecting a partner.
If that's the mindset how do you think those same people are voting? Some people are saying 48% of people under 30 support the idea of Universal Basic Income. So when politicians start talking about guaranteed basic income or FREE COLLEGE or whatever the mob starts cheering.
I just have one question…
