Mike Pence is an interesting character, kind of the opposite of Trump in terms of personality. He's more even keeled, doesn't brag and never insults anyone. Most people would call him humble. Is it possible to be humble and still proud to be an American and stand up for American values?
Back in January Vice President Pence made a joke that he comes from the Joseph A. Bank wing of the West Wing. He was joking that he cannot afford the expensive suits that Trump wears. He's a humble guy and he lives that way.
Back in July Vice President, Mike Pence gave a speech at American University. One of the things he said was "The truth of the matter is that some of the most compelling leaders I've ever known in my life are people that are focused on others more than themselves, are considerate to others."
Whether you like him or not, agree with him or not, Vice President Pence is a humble guy. Wouldn’t you agree on a personal level, in terms of character, Mike Pence is a genuinely good guy? Is it possible to be humble and still proud to be an American and stand up for American values?
