This is the transcript of the introduction for this episode of the Christopher Scott Talk Show Podcast:
When I was growing up, hard work was something that was respected. Do we still have that today? It seems like today everyone's looking for the next get rich quick and easy scheme. Everybody wants to do it the easy way.
Did you know you’re more likely to get struck by lightning than to win the lottery? You’d probably think winning the lottery would be the best thing that ever happened to you. Probably not. About 70% of lottery winners end up dead broke within 7 years.

The experts say it’s because of greedy family and friends who expect a hand out. Most lottery winners have a hard time saying no. That might be part of it, but I think there’s a better answer.
