This is the transcript of the introduction for this episode of the Christopher Scott Talk Show Podcast:
Where do you get your news and how confident are that you're getting accurate truthful information? I'm guessing you don't have a lot of trust in the media and I base that on survey after survey that shows most people don't trust the media.
Here's the bigger question, why do you put up with it? Entertainment value? What good is that? If I started a show by saying hey, I'm going to spew out a bunch of nonsense here and you'll probably just be pissed off and frustrated by the end would you want that? Of course not. So why do you keep tuning to cable news?
All the mainstream media outlets to one degree or another play psychological and emotional games. I know they do a great job of telling you how they're the most trusted name in news or how fair and balanced they are but that's all misleading too. Plainly fake news that only serves to cause trouble. It creates misinformation. Misinformation about issues and misinformation about people. It's modern day mob mentality and daily witch hunts. So what can you do about it?
So hit the play button!
