What Do Political Parties Do?
What do political parties do besides divide the country and pit people against each other. Both parties have consistently contributed to adding to the debt. Both parties have either made significant problems worse or stood by as nothing’s been done about it.
How do you even know the difference between a republican and a democrat? The country is divided between these two parties, but what’s the difference?
Both parties have consistently contributed to adding to the debt. Both parties have either made significant problems worse or stood by as nothing’s been done about it. So what’s the difference between democrats and republicans?
Most people call themselves republican or democrat and a large percentage consider themselves independent. But on all the major issues little has fundamentally changed in decades. So what have political parties accomplished? What purpose do they serve for the tax paying citizens?
It’s easy to be disappointed in politicians and choosing between the two parties is mostly a function of choosing the lesser of two evils. Choosing between the slow destruction of the country or quick death. If you look at the outcomes, there’s no fundamental difference between the two parties.
The only thing they share in common is the ability to spend and run up debt. They spend on difference things at different times, but both parties have contributed to out of control spending.
What do political parties do? About the only achievement you could give them is running up debt and running the country into bankruptcy.
